Welcome!

Just as our heavenly Father sent his Son, Jesus to live amongst us, so we too enjoy the friendship and fellowship of those seeking to find out more about God.We hope and pray that, together, we can enjoy working out that relationship with our Father, welcomed and rescued by his Son and enlivened - empowered - by his Holy Spirit.

As a congregation, we aim to:
  •  have confidence in the opportunity for worship at St Paul’s Church;
  •  continue activities which centre on worship, prayer, meeting and sharing during times of change,

    and
  •  develop pastoral links with families who live within our Parish and also those who come to our church for baptism, marriage and funerals.
For more info on being part of St Paul's see also our Membership page.

Revd John
Bennett (pictured, left) is Priest in Charge of St Paul's. He moved to Spalding to take up this post along with being Vicar of
St Mary & St Nicolas, Spalding in March 2010.

"St Paul's has a small, but very committed and welcoming congregation. We have big challenges to repair the church buildings but we have already made good progress with securing grants and fund-raising.
We want the church to open more often and to develop our facilities to benefit the local community.
You are welcome to join us at 9.15am on a Sunday morning or on Saturdays, when we say a simple Morning Prayer at 9.30am. During July, August and September the church is open every Saturday for visitors from 10am - 12 noon."

A warm welcome to Rev John Bennett, licensed to serve at St Mary & St Nicolas and St Paul's on 25 March 2010 by Rt Rev John Saxbee, Bishop of Lincoln.  They moved from Sprowstonone of the largest parishes in Norfolk.

John has been the Rural Dean for Norwich North since October 2005 and has developed strong and loving ecumenical relationships with the local Methodist and URC congregations.

Married to Mary, they have three grown up children Alice, Joseph & Eleanor.
